This sterling silver Swallow Tail Kite pin/pendant from Courtney Design is a custom design by Courtney and Lee Peterson for Crowley Museum & Nature Center. Lee Peterson is the younger son of naturalist and birding legend Roger Tory Peterson, author of the ground breaking 1934 book, A Field Guide to the Birds. He and his wife, Courtney have, over the years, designed specific pieces for groups such as The National Geographic Society, The Boston Museum of Art and many others. We are proud to have Crowley Museum and Nature Center added to that list. This is an even more special time to have a piece designed by the Peterson family; this year marks the 100th anniversary of Roger Tory Peterson’s birth.
You will receive one of these custom pins for a minimum donation of $250.00. Support Crowley Museum and Nature Center and acquire one of these beautiful pieces.
Your recurring annual gift at any of these levels will include a permanent name plate for the project or program that you choose to support. This plaque can represent you, your family, company or you may choose to dedicate your gift “in memory of.”
Whether it’s a new experiential education program, a long overdue replacement project, or just maintaining Crowley’s current offering to the community at large, one hundred percent of your tax deductible donation will be used to support Crowley Museum and Nature Center, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Please help by making your gift today to insure our legacy for generations to come.
I would like my annual donation to go to the following :
( You may also split your donation if you so choose)
- Entrance and roadway resurface
- Equipment - all terrain vehicle, mowers, cultivator
- Livestock fencing – multi-species grazing
- New well with solar or wind power pump to sustain agricultural programs now on site including our muscadine grape vineyard.
- Interior “period relevant” furnishings and artifacts for the completed Tatum School house.
